Summer Savings Haul

A couple weekends ago, my husband and I went to the beach for the weekend, and while we were there we decided to do a little shopping. Now, here on the Gulf Coast we have this wonderful place called the Tanger Outlets. At The Outlets there are tons of stores that have name brand merchandise for a great price, and it just so happened that while we were there they were having a lot of sales on top of their already low prices. Needless to say, we (or I) hit the jack pot and ended up with some pretty great deals. We shopped for a few hours, and we came home with all kinds of goodies from Nike, Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, and Victoria's Secret.

Nike
Our first stop was the Nike Outlet. We bought three pairs of shoes, one pair of shorts, one sports bra, and one top. The shoes were the best savings. I got a pair of Women's Nike Free 5.0, which are my absolute favorite athletic shoes, for $74.99. They normally retail for $100. My husband bought two pairs, a pair of Nike Flex and a pair of Nike Free Trainers 3.0. The Nike Flex retails for $80, and we paid $49. The men's Nike Free Trainer retails for $110, and we paid $39 for them. Every thing else was on sale too, so we saved a total of $130 at the Nike outlet.

Old Navy
The next place we went into was Old Navy. We bought a ton of clothes from there. I ended up with two pairs of shorts, one romper, one athletic top, two maxi dresses, and one pair of sandals. Alex also bought two pairs of pants (not photographed). At Old Navy we saved $49.

Bath and Body Works
Now, Bath and Body Works is where we really hit the jack pot. Here, we saved more than we spent! I bought four candles, a body wash, a lotion, and a travel size body wash. The candles were on sale for $9.60 a piece. They normally cost $22. The body wash and lotion were 75% off, and I had two coupons. I had one Coupon for a free travel size item and one for 25% off my entire purchase. My total was $48.18, and I saved $79!

Victoria's Secret
We don't have a Victoria's Secret outlet, but I shopped online while on vacation, and since I saved a lot of money there too, I decided to include my purchase in this post as well. I bought two sports bras that were originally $49.90 apiece. They were on sale for $19.99 each, and I had a $15 reward card.

All together, we saved $332.83! I was so excited because I hardly ever catch any sales, and I never find anything on clearance in my size that I like. On this shopping trip, every single Item we purchased was on sale, and we saved a ton of money!
