Last week was my 26th birthday. To be honest, I wasn't too excited about getting closer to 30. Then, I snapped out of it. I realized that just because I'm an adult now and getting older, doesn't mean that I have to grow up anytime soon. So, I did what any 26-year-old would do, throw a themed birthday party with my family. 

I have never been the go-out-and-party type. I normally take trips for my birthday or have little parties with my family, so this year was no different. And since I never miss the opportunity to have a themed party, I usually just go with whatever I'm really into at the time. This year it just happened to be Dragon Ball Z. Yes, I'm an anime nerd, but I am what I am. So, we had a little party with a ton of food, a piñata, and a Dragon Ball Z cake. We had a lot of fun, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Birthdays and special occasions only come around every so often, so it's important to spend them with the people who mean the most to you.
